General Information
The Student Health Center provides health services to currently registered students. The Center is located on the north side of campus-near the main entrance to the university, across the street from the physical education gymnasiums. During the academic year, the Health Center hours are:

Measles/Rubella Requirements
The Chancellor of the California State University system requires new and readmitted students born on or after January 1, 1957 to present proof of immunity to measles and rubella or be immunized in order to continue their education at CSU campuses.

Optometry
The SHC takes great pride in announcing our newly formed partnership with the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. Faculty and senior interns from U.C. Berkeley perform comprehensive eye examinations for Sac State students. On completion of the eye exam, you may need a prescription for eyeglasses, or contact lenses. We offer a wide selection of eyeglass frames in our new "EYE WEAR CENTER" located right here in the SHC. In addition, we offer contact lens fitting services and also fill contact lens prescriptions. These are medical exams required for class participation, DMV, employment, international travel, programs, sports participation, etc. They are done on an appointment basis. PCS provides individual counseling to regularly enrolled Sac State students free of charge, and provides couples counseling, family counseling, group therapy, support groups, biofeedback and relaxation training, crisis intervention, psychiatric services (medication evaluation and treatment), and Learning Disorders Services (assessment and referral).CSUS Psychological Services Center
