Student Right To Know

Graduation Rates

Campus Crime Statistics

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Sacramento State has made crime statistics available online: Clery Act Report. Reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by California State University, Sacramento, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus, during the last three years are included. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other safety matters. Print copies are available in the library and by request from the Office of Public Safety and the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Athletic Program Participation Rates and Financial Support

The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) requires co-educational institutions of postsecondary education that participate in a Title IV, federal student financial assistance program, and have an intercollegiate athletic program, to prepare an annual report to the Department of Education on athletic participation, staffing, and revenues and expenses by men's and women's teams. The Department will use this information in preparing its required report to the Congress on gender equity in intercollegiate athletics. EADA reports are listed below:

Student Rights Under FERPA

All student records of the California State University, including California State University, Sacramento, are kept in accordance with the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) specifies certain rights for students with respect to their education records. For more information, see Student Rights under FERPA.

Financial Assistance

The Financial Aid Office provides support for students to help meet the costs of obtaining a college degree. Funding is provided by the federal and state governments and private donors.
